I have worked for KYP for over thirteen years now in a variety of different positions. I started off as an assessor with a small caseload of health and social care and residential childcare learners and have progressed into different roles as the company has developed. During this time there have been many changes, such as the delivery requirements from Awarding bodies and from Ofsted. I am an IQA, and I have also been able to complete my DET whilst at KYP, and I then went on to further gain my QTLS status.
My learners have benefited from this as I have developed my own skills, and I enjoy being able to keep up to date with changes and challenges faced within the Social care sector.
Within my current role as Head of Apprenticeships, I am looking forward to supporting the team develop further and to continue to raise the quality of training within our sector of Apprenticeships.
